Joe Mannino (born 1950) is an American ceramic sculptor who was a professor in the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) for 35 years, retiring in 2021. His artistic practice, primarily in large-scale ceramic sculpture, integrates classical architectural forms with modern subjects to reference the order, politics, and ambitions of society. Mannino’s work is featured in various collections, including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and notable campus commissions include the unique hand-cast tiles on CMU's Cohon University Center.
